We offer bespoke guided bike tours from our base at Quercy Photo Holidays, providing an immersive experience that combines cycling, nature, history and cultural exploration. These tours are designed to showcase the beauty and heritage of the Quercy region, making them the ideal way to explore the locality.
We have extensive knowledge of the network of quiet country lanes, and off road tracks which surround our home and which connect with a wide range of local villages, natural sites and tourist attractions.
Tours can be arranged from short and easy road based rides to longer, more challenging adventures. It’s a great way to see nature and the local landscape without the car. The pace is relaxed with frequent stops to take in the scenery, look for wildlife and explore features of interest (dolmens, cazelles, phosphatières and historic villages).
An example tour would take in the Lot and Célé Valleys stopping at St Cirq Lapopie and Cabrerets with a break for lunch or refreshments at one of the cafes along the route.
You can bring your own bike or electric mountain bikes can be hired on-site (see our bike hire page). Tour prices start from 45€ per person. We can tailor a route according to your interests and fitness levels. A picnic, or a visit to a cafe en-route can be arranged for longer tours.
Tours are available in both French and English and you don’t have to be staying with us to participate. Please contact us for further information.
